Same Year, New Adventure

Hello.
It's good to be writing in this journal again (but I'm not sure why it's good other than that it signifies the start of something new and exciting. to be honest i'd rather be using the medium of podcasting... but wait... surely a brilliant idea.... keep your eyes peeled for the first Unicast direct from my new shoebox...ANYWAY...) I'm mainly writing in this again to keep a record of what it is/was like to start university. Let me explain..... Once upon a time (10:01 am) I found myself (here I am!! :)) contemplating life at uni in Birmingham and what that would be like. So today any minute now I'm off to Brum to study Music Tech and brave the dangers that life will surely throw my way. Over the next few weeks I shall encounter more strangers than I have since travelling, but you know what they say - 'a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet' or alternativly 'a stranger is just a man who probably has a gun and if you catch eye contact you are in serious....' *ahem* let's lighten the mood slightly..... it's also FRESHERS WEEK on monday... and I'll get an internet connection on monday - fingers crossed - (oh Ashley aren't you the cool kid on campus) so I shall speak to you then!!!
